This is the outside of my photography studio complex. The building was built in 1832 and used as a factory to manufacture cotton fabric. It now houses many artists, storage of broadway props and wardrobes, and a theatrical lighting manufacturing business. I am proud to be part of this amazing historical landmark.

IT'S RAINING !!!!!!!!! MY PHOTOS!!! NOW WHAT ???
Beautiful venue, gorgeous view, perfect sunset location, wonderful outdoor terrace etc, etc, etc. Then it rains!!!!!! If you have taken your time to ask these questions of your hired professionals, you would not freak out if this weather situation should materialize. Since i am a photographer, lets look it from my point of view. Any experienced professional photographer should be confident to say that the rain will not restrict them at the least. While visiting with photographers, questions such as these should be asked. It will test the photographers confidence level. Wedding photographers have to put up with various weather conditions, time restraints, and other high pressured circumstances. A great photographer should be able to adapt to any situation on the fly. This is called being organized and experienced. This equals CONFIDENCE!!! Being familiar with a venue will always help a photographer to be able to move to plan #2. Your photographer's relationship with the staff will also help him or her be able to do his or her job more efficiently. On a typical wedding meeting, i will always discuss the "what if's" that could happen. It rains, it snows, tsunami waves hit, etc. I discuss back up plans so that everyone knows what will be the next move. It makes the bride and groom feel much more at ease. I always will take the Bride and Groom outside with an umbrella and do some fun shots. They end up being very unique and unpredictable. The light is so soft, the foliage is so rich and bright, and the ground is so shinny and saturated. So don't let a little crazy weather stress out your day. Think of how it will change something from good to great. In the 20 years in the business, rain has produced nothing but great photographic images for me. Many of them winning awards in professional categories. More on this subject as we enter the storm season!!! LOL Looking forward to this wedding season!!!!! A happy bride is a happy photographer!
